Salt Water Drift Sinker
Great for
Halibut, Rockfish, and Striper
Salamander
Sinkers took its snag resistant sinker design and created
a product that salt water anglers have wanted for a long
time, a snag resistant sinker.
The Salt Water Drift Sinker
was designed and tested with the help of professional angler
Captain David Hammond of Delta
Pro Fishing. When crafting the sinker we were mindful
of the ever changing tidal conditions experienced by salt
water anglers. Now salt water anglers have a choice in selecting
a sinker that matches the tide. Now
anglers can drift
fish across the bottom of oceans and bays snag free!
Our 4 & 6 oz models
work great during low slow tide conditions while the 8 and
10 oz models work best in high fast tide. Choose the model
that best fits your fishing conditions and have the confidence
of knowing that Salamander Sinkers produces the best snag
free sinkers available.
Application: There are two ways to fish the Salt Water Drift
Sinker.
The first is with a three way swivel. Use 30 lb line for
sinker and 20 lb for the leader and hook. Again choose a
hook and bait combination depending on species sought and
angler preference.
The second way to use the sinker is inline such as a Carolina
Rig style with a leader 2 to 4 feet and is 1/3 the strength
of the pole line. For example if the pole line is 30 lb
test the leader should be 20 lb test. Choose a hook and
bait combination depending on species sought and angler
preference.
Try each method and decide which works best for you.
