Salamander Sinkers
Drop Shot achieves the perfect balance between flexibility,
buoyancy and submersion resulting in a product that
allows anglers to fish areas that are out of bounds
for conventional drop shot sinkers.
Out of the water the
sinker functions as a traditional weighted sinker
in terms of casting distance. But once in water the
natural buoyancy of the sinker body is counteracted
by the steel weight used for submersion. When the
sinker enters the water it doesn’t “sink
like a rock” but falls in a slow natural motion
due to the buoyancy of the tube.
The sinker slides
and glides across rocks without snagging. The result
is a fishing rig that is light, easy to cast and retrieve
making it the ultimate in finesse fishing.
